Ramsbottom Set for a Chocolate Extravaganza

Ramsbottom’s Chocolate Festival is set to be the biggest and best yet. The event attracted 30,000 people to Ramsbottom last year, but its future was thrown into doubt after Bury Council withdrew its support.

After a great deal of hard work and dedication by Gregg Fletcher, Chairman of Ramsbottom Business Group, Paul Morris of The Chocolate Café and Rob Hodkinson of Murrays Family Clothing, the chocolate extravaganza will proceed this Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13.

Ramsbottom has quite rightly become the top “foodie” town in the north west over the last few years.

We have a tremendous number of good restaurants, gastro-pubs, tea rooms and independent shops selling a whole range of food and drink.

We are so lucky that we have such a dedicated team of business owners and traders who have worked so hard to put on this event. It will also generate money for the town which will help to pay for future events.

The Chocolate Festival has become an annual fixture now, and due to the publicity generated and from word of mouth, combined with more traders, it is sure to be the biggest and best festival yet.

I hope you enjoy it.
