Candidates announced for Ramsbottom By-Election

The Candidates for the by-election which will be held in Ramsbottom on Thursday 6 March have now been announced as follows:-

  • Robert Hodkinson, Conservative
  • Sarah Southworth, Labour
  • David Foss, Lib Dem
  • Glyn Heath, Green
  • David Barker, UKIP

Voters will soon receive their polling cards in the post, and polling stations will be open on election day from 7am to 10pm.

Anyone who wishes a postal vote or a proxy vote or does not receive their polling card should contact Bury Council’s elections office by 5pm on Wednesday 19 February by calling 0161 253 5113 or emailing electionservices@bury.gov.uk
